Eircom Email problem on Iphone 4

    Hope someone can advise or point out what I'm missing!! For the last few days, on and off, I have been unable to load my emails from my Eircom a/c. Today it isn't recognising it at all. My phone keeps telling me 'Cannot get mail the Eircom password or username is incorrect.' I have not done anything to the settings since the day I added the account. Has anyone else come across this?

    I have tried deleting the account and putting in the information again but to no avail.

    You would be better of using gmail or something else
    eircom mail server or very old and never being upgraded to be suited for iphone

    There is an issue with the eircom servers which they are working on at the moment.

    Also, you may have been moved to new webmail. Sometimes the password gets messed up then.

    Thanks for the replies. I've never had problems with Eircom until now so I'll wait it out and see if it resolves itself if there is a problem with the server.
