[CoD Black Ops] - MegaBitch thread

I agree with a previous poster that said it is getting like the sports games that EA bring out each year.
Basically reskinned and nothing much new.

I think COD should make environments more interactive.
COD is all basically run around and shoot.....how about tanks, jeeps, planes....doors that close...rivers with water that you can actually walk into...environment that you can move aaside and get onto (unlike tables or furniture in some rooms that you can't...stupid.

New game types...escort a VIP.....execute a VIP....etc

They are getting lazy.

You're getting into battlefield territory there, thats why. That's not what COD is about. It is/was about gun vs. gun. .

Battlefied is great at what it does. . If you haven't played any of them maybe you should pick it up?

Balanced game me arse!!!!just emptied an aug with extended mags into someones chest,he hit me twice in the leg with the same weapon,have a guess who died.

Battlefield compared to COD is very poor IMO.

Well I'm afraid they need to change it to be a bit different because unless they do people will not spend a year playing COD like they did MW2.

With a third company now going to make a COD game....something has to give.

Im sitting here and absolute gutted

I was snipping in the villa and man I was on a ****ing roll, the idiots kept going up stairs and and just kept hitting them off, for the first time using a sniper gun I got a chopper gunner and was just about to use it when my ps3 froze

its the 3rd time this has happened me within 1hr

Im really gutted tbh, how a game like this makes your ps3 froze is beyond me and how they can release a game like this makes it even worse

tonight im having the worst games ever the lag is unreal im throwing grenades and there not leaving my hand for a few seconds
i run and then they go off coming over my head
the majority of my kills are becoming assists
after i take my finger off the trigger bullets still do becoming from my gun care packages some times fail to leave my hand
players are jumping across the map there in one position one min and there seconds later they've popped a few yards up its doing my head in here :mad:

I'm back playing MW2, Black Ops just isn't on par with it. Maybe I'll go back in a month or two when everything is ironed out but until then....

Had to turn Black Ops off there, the lag is just appaling. Im on PS3, its so glitchy and just crap all round, anyone else having problems? Is it any better on the Xbox? Lag issues?

I do love emptying an entire clip on someones face/chest only for them to stab me. Or ducking in behind something only to see on the killcam that infact I was nowhere near ducking behind anything. Im raging. MW2 back on now and no problems...well aside from the usual me just being a poor player :P

Ya I think it well documented the issue's the ps3 users are suffering.
I haven't had any real problems on the xbox myself

Its practically unplayable. Its been a solid three weeks of absolute rage at the TV. It cant be like that for everyone on the PS3 network surely, there are still people winning free for all deathmatch after 4 minutes. Im lucky to break 20 kills after the ten minutes. Pop in MW2 and I go back to pretty much winning or 2nd in every game. Xbox could be on the christmas wish list... It'll be my third and hopefully it'll last!

Being on the PS3 I thought I had escaped most of the issues. sure there was lag here or there but nothing major but it seems to have imploded today. Biggest issue is the PS3 keeps stalling at the menus in between games. It's ****ing annoying.

Has the game stalled on you mid way through a match by any chance? Anytime it happens to me I seem to be winning... which is greeted with a tirade of abuse at that shiny black box of shíte that sits under my telly.

Dont even get me started on the "random" disconnects and it throws everyone back to the lobby. Happened me maybe 5 times out of 20 odd games today, game over.

Oh and while I'm on a megabitch, why doesnt it feckin tell you when someone destroys your equipment anymore?? I would like to know when my claymore is dead thanks. Oh and while Im on the subject... absolutely love it when people stroll through your claymore for it to go off three seconds later. Love it.

Cant even get into the call of duty forums,the game is a joke for ps3 lag,frame rate, freezing all the time.Its great we got a half arsed game ported from the xbox,just shows money talks about game developers

I'm getting a lot more 'Lost connection' recently. Then when I go out it freezes for about half a minute and then goes to normal, freezes again etc.

Nah man,believe me I'm the first to blame the lag,watched the killcam and it was definitely not lag,I could understand if it was 2 blasts of a shotgun but 2 aug bullets in the leg just doesn't add up to a kill.

Yeah this connection rejected and migrating host bullsh*t is ridiculous! I keep just getting kicked out and back into the game lobby. I was on a 24 kill, 1 death killstreak in a game last night and got kick out with 1 minute left in the game! I lost all my game stats, contracts and challenges that I had completed in that game. I swear I nearly through the PS3 out the window and I think I broke my controller. There has to be a fix coming soon! :mad:

actually just to clarify though im assuming once you jump off the bridge into the water you'l simply leave the ps3 in the river and climb back out unscathed
