    Congrats!!!

I've never seen anyone propose before so I kinda stared...

I hope I didn't ruin the moment, I tried my hardest to walk by very quietly but I saw the fella, who was down on one knee, glance at me. I wanted to say something but I didn't want to ruin the moment on you guys and as he was down on one knee for such a long time he must have had a lot to say!

It was actually a nice "scene" to get engaged in given that the snow and how City Quay (between Matt Talbot Bridge and Sean O'Casey Bridge) is maintained so well by Dublin City Council with lovely trees with festive blue lights.

Well congrats to you if you're one of those two folk or if anyone knows who they are, I hope you'll be very happy together and you gave me a lift on a cold walk home.

Oh and I know your one said "Yes!" as I turned around about 30 yards after passing them and they were embracing... hopefully it was love and not consolation though!

Good to see Bobby Sands is still trying to interrupt acts of union.

I proposed to my missus at Christmas in Paris a few years ago... yeah, cliched, but still romantic...

Anyhow, it was at the top of Monte Marte Cathedral.. it was snowing & there was a group of students having a few beers & playing guitar on the steps of the cathedral.

When they saw what was going on, they broke out into an acoustic version of White Stripes, "Fell in Love With A Girl", which was pretty cool!

Ah... ya can't beat a bit of love.

And as the saying goes - the only cure for love is marriage. ;)

Don't worry Peachy... I'm sure he has many more ways of making you unhappy, then you'll feel loved like all the other girls. :p

    Yes.

    Alone.

    And unhappy.

Age Action Ireland will be your only friends.

The highlight of your week will be the postman checking on you to see if you are still alive.

And all because you have a fear of public displays of affection.
