Hi,
Link for you it shows DUB 1 km forecast.System used by Search and Rescue organisations around world I am led to believe.Gives a 24hr animated forecast.

Don't know anything about weather or how they do it just thought I would share it with you.

1km resolution from GFS?! Sweet! Thanks for that!

Shame it's limited to Dublin though.

The Dublin extract seems to be done in conjunction with Irish software company Decisions for Heroes - I met a couple of their people at a conference - top blokes.

Yes - we will be offering SARweather 1km resolution weather on-demand through our rescue tool http://www.decisionsforheroes.com

You will be able to pick a lat/lng on a map as the centre of the forecast. 17 mins later you will get a delivery of a 1km res forecast for the next 24 hours.
