We have a Hannspree 19 inch tv which is is giving off a toxic gasy smell.

This all happened over the past week. The tv is 2 years old.

Unfortunatley the shop where we purchased is out of business.

I will try to contact company.

If anybody has any thoughts I would appreciate it.

Probably best to unplug it and bring it to a repair shop.

A circuit board burning out gives a particularly nasty smell, that could be what's happening.

If you spilled something on it then *cough* it might be covered on your house insurance.
