Sporttracks 3.0 problem

Sorry if this has been asked before (I did a search and nothing turned up).

I downloaded the trail version of sportstracks 3.0 to see if I wanted to buy it. Trial had nothing new that I could use to benefit. But now my own sportstracks (2.1) won't download from the garmin.

Anyone got an idea how to fix it? I can't see an uninstall button for 3.0 trial and restarting everything with and EMS field in the housing estate ain't doing it either.

Did the trail version over-write 2.1 or create a new program? I can't see any reason why you can't re-download 2.1. Backup your history file first to a memory stick and see if you can un-install 2.1 and download it again.

Go into control panel, add/remove programs and you should be able to find sportracks 3.0 somewhere in the list. Click remove. Then try running 2.1 again

Ok, opened control panel and deleted 3.0. saved logbook and reinstalled 2.1.

updated any and all drivers and api files.

No joy. But thanks for the advice, heading to sporttracks forum now. :-)

Strange! I have both 2.1 and 3 installed and both are working. (I wanted to ensure that 3 worked properly and that I was happy with it before deleting 2.1...Hmmm...must get round to deleting 2.1  )

The other only thing I can think of is the default directory. I presume you chose a different directory for each installation???? If not, try installing again but ensure that you use separate directories for each version. S'all I can offer.

Ok. Sorted. Deleted everything. Restarted computer and installed everything again. (idiots guide to computing)

    All good now. Many thanks
