What rock star would you like to be?

    Everyone would like to be a rock star; that much goes without saying. The only question is which rock star?

    I get that playing in a band would be incredible and I'd be tempted to pick lead singer with some sentinel of the pantheon of rock but that **** could get old real fast. I'd be happier as a solo artist I reckon. So I'd probably be Beck. I could handle being effortlessly cool and throwing out albums that sound like I didn't even get round to having toast and a shower before I wrote them. I'd probaby deconvert from Scientology but other than that I'd probably swap with the guy for 6 months.

    I'd be in a boyband rather than an actual rockstar.

    Easy lays, you don't even have to sing live you just move about a bit.

    Sure I'd have no dignity but I'd be so deep in the clunge I wouldn't care! That and knowing my music annoys millions would also be a nice little private pleasure.

    Rory Gallagher , couldnt stand to be one of those poser type rockstars. Most of them dont really care about what they are churning out night after night.

    I always thought rockstars were the ones who got the groupies . Looking at the audiences at boyband concerts youd want to be careful . Its usually 11 year olds or mad oul ones. Surely people in between have some sense

    Good point. I'll change mine to Dave Grohl so...

    I'd imagine Take That and Boyzone are hitting girls in their young to mid 20's though!
