Salary Expectations in UAE

    Hey,

    Just looking for a bit of advice as regards working in the UAE primarily Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

    1. What have been peoples experience to date would you recommend it?

    2. Myself and my gf are seriously considering on heading over and just want to get an idea of salary expectations.

    She's a structural engineer with a masters in energy mgmt with limited work experience in either field to date

    I'm a qualified big 4 accountant with 4 yrs exp (1 pqe).


    3. Also would appreciate if you could recommend any recruiters, realistically won't be heading until at least one of us has secured a job.

    Are you on linkedin? There is a jobs.2:0 group with a specific area for the gulf region. There is also another group called expats jobs that may be of help.

    yer missus would struggle to get a job with limited experience, but maybe im wrong.

    any jobs i looked at for my engineering field abroad needed several (and i dont mean 2) years experience.
