Bored of BO already

Tell you what. I'll change the TiG Server to Barebones for tonight! This playlist removes killstreaks and perks.

We'll start with Demolition and try the other objective based games in Barebones. Most of the TiG guys tend to be on from 9ish, also if you are jumping on pse join our TS that way if the server is full we can boot a randomer for you.

Sorry to dig up this thread but im starting to agree with the op here

I changed to snipping recently because it was a change and kept me playing cod but even snipping its boring to me now, majoirty of games im getting buried by a machine gun at great distance away which is absolute crap tbh
****ing embarrassing dying from a handgun a great distance away too :mad:

everyone using the same guns ie ak74u and galil, just so repetitive

Oh noes(!), you gave the gave the game fair chance which is what I originally said people should do, beggars belief you'd do that HS.

edit - this latest patch due for the PS3 could be the nail in the coffin for the game if all isn't fixed. I'll be completely returning to COD4 if I have to.

Yeah I know.

Tbh, I just find it funny that some people, who were fapping about the game at the very beginning are the ones who despise it soon after those original comments and feel it a necessity to have a little dig at moi for basically saying that people shouldn't be quick to judge a game. But hey, each to their own :pac:

Hopefully the patch sorts things out as when it's running smoothly(the rare times it is), I find it enjoyable.

Disagree Headshot, ok the AK74U is by far the best SMG, and I heard there even gona nerf that in the next patch, but all the assault rifles are balanced, wouldnt have the Galil as the best, think the G11 and AK47 are abit better than the rest but not by much. Thats why this game is so much better than MW2, theres a balance. At least theres no more UMP and Noobtubes constantly!!:rolleyes:

While I know exactly what you mean mate.

The UMP was arguably the most extremely unbalanced SMG in COD.
74u nor something like the P90 are a patch on the UMP.

Have you tried the barebones modes that remove perks, attachments and killstreaks? Might be more to your liking?

Whether the game took a while to be declared average or it was spotted more swiftly it doesnt change that it is in fact an average game in the COD series.

I think it's the best since COD4 anyway and with improvements in the patches I daresay it could topple even that

They reeeeaaaally have to fix sniping and hopefully the next patch will do it.

8th Prestige MW2 in GB Clan
CS 1.6 played over for 3 years

i can say the game sucks so much ;/ Graphics is the best ever campaign is deadly but mp seriously ? Engine is so bad its not cod anymore . Its so slow just like BF BC . A well still got to adapt and play a bit. maybe trade in for GT 5. And for you that didnt know BO is coded really badly. It takes out ram out of your XMB instead of graphics card and thats why your xmb is laggy so much while playing BO. Also if you want less lag delete most of your mates from friends list leave at max 10 playing black ops online and you wont lag.

Well..... since the series isnt THAT big.. surely average is good ? Take out the best and worse games (CoD2 + CoD3 imo) then average would put it between mw2/w@w and CoD4... not a bad place to be when the game still has a bunch of fixes to come eh ?

I agree. Hopefully these changes do make the multiplayer more fun overall

Haven't played BO in a good while, not arsed at the moment but that happened with MW2 so no doubt i'll get hooked again

I think for alot of people, the pace is too slow and its very one directional. I miss the variety that MW2 had especially the running around and knifing bit. Even when Blops is fixed I cant see myself putting in the same hours as I did with MW2. Still a good game, but lacks excitement.
