- Louis Tomlinson, 18, (from Doncaster), a student at Hall Cross School
- Niall Horan, 17, (from Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland), a student at Coláiste Mhuire, Mullingar
- Harry Styles, 16, (from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire) a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School
- and Zain Malik,17 (from East Bowling, Bradford).

Anyone else reallyy love their judges house? Like they dont ever get to sing like that anymore, I'd love to hear them acoustic with Liam, Harry and Niall sharing the lead(but Harry getting more obvs :P)
I think my top 3 of their songs would be.

Let's get introduced to the band, shall we.
Let's start off with the baby. Harry Styles, 16 from Cheshire, England
Harry is quite reknowned for his curly hair, the cute smile and of course his bromance with Louis Tomlinson (strictly platonic!). A Rory McIlroy lookalike maybe? You decide...
Next up we have the perfect Liam payne. A major favourite with the ladies, Liam is known as "the smart one", a young 17 year old lad hailing from Wolverhampton. Abit quiet at times, it doesn't stop his leadership skills from shining through as he gains lead solo's each week throughout one direction's live shows.
Then of course, there's Zayn Malik. Living in Bradford but of Asian origin, it's no wonder the ladies love him. His tanned skin and overall good looks is only an attribute to the many roles he plays in the band including holding together the foundations of the harmonies during each xfactor live performance.
Chomh maith le sin, Niall from Mullingar is one of our own. Just after turning 17, his Irish charm never fails to come through in week diaries, live performances even whilst shaking Dermot's hand! Getting numerous solo's during the live stages, he has put his stamp on the band. He even teaches his band mates the Irish accent and lingo!!!
And last but not least Louis Tomlinson from Doncastor. The oldest member hasn't seen a real solo so far for the band but that does not take away from the impact he has. The funny one who likes girls who eat carrots, it is impossible not to be reeled in by his charisma and charm. His dedicated bromance with Harry and the strange yet strong love for fellow contestant mary byrne is only a small bit of his daily ongoings. Sadly he is taken *sheds tear*
