Convert ISO to AVI/Divx?

Over the last few years, I have about a dozen movies that I've ripped to iso format (expensive lesson learned re. kids and dvds "scratch resistant my ar*e!"). Recently got one of those DVD players with a USB slot, so I'm looking to convert the ISOs to AVI/Divx format. Is this easy to do? I only have a few to do, and speed…

I only have a few to do, and speed is not important, so any recommendations for free/cheap software?
