I've been informed that it means "talking", but in a rather condescending manner?

FGB gives Bladair - to cajole (to persuade someone through flattery)
ag bladaireacht - act of cajoling
bladairt could be a dialectical version

    Hi hatrickpatrick

It can be used in the following context

Ag bladairt trína thóin = talking through his ass

    bladairt(Corkish)?

For some reason I think I have heard this before somewhere??
