Recommend an aggiator

    Hi
    I am looking for an aggitator for my slurry tank, Its around 70 ft long,
    Animals housed on straw bed and steppin onto tank for feeding.
    Any one recommend one,
    I have been advised to use the pump rather than the properller.

    Anyone ever seen it in use or used one,
    Pump will be run off a TS115.

    buy one that doesnt require the removal of the shaft when putting in or taking out , the redrock immedietley springs to mind

    my brother has an NC 3000 , excellent pump but a bloody nuisance having to remove the shaft when moving from tank to tank

    Our contractor has a redrock type one, bloody loves it as he reckons to mix say a 50k gallon tank takes only 2/3rds time of hi-spec ?? model he had previosly.
    He generaly drives it with a tsa115, or on special occasion a 6630 jd, says it doesnt take much power.
    Was reading about them hardrocks, with the knifes on the spout, id reckon they're a good imo.

    James geoghan who supplies the hardrock agitator invented the knife part and he says he can supply it for most makes of pumps not that dear. But I would look at having the knives as your using straw and with out you won't be able to get someone to use a trailing shoe or injector as it will block up the outlets.
    I have a galvanised NC 3000 which must be 20 years old and still going perfect but you do need to remove the pto to move. So I would reckon by 20yrs we will have a splashplate ban so would get 1 with knives.
    I drove mine with a jd 2140 which was just fit for it now use a case 5140 which i use the 1000 box at a little more than tick over. Heard the big nc is hard driven

    I have the Jumbo wexoman pump. serious machine. We work it with a TS115 but it doesnt even need that much power. I also work with a contractor who has the same pump. He has it about 8 years now. Still works perfect and he does a lot of slurry every year. I have agitated some fair solid tanks with it and it did it without a bother. Very simple machine aswell to maintain. Hope this was of use to you

    we have a belmac, i know some people dont like them but i think there a great machine. ours is hard drove though, you only get to bout 1800rpm in 540 with a 115hp tractor. we have a 160hp and she knows she has it. its a 1 to 2 gear box on it though so thats why is so hard to drive. we did have one with a 1 to 1.5 gearbox and that was alot easier driven, we were able to use our 85hp tractor and still had a great output, we used to put the big tractor in 540eco
