I've been dropshotted a fair bit in this, but definitely not to the extent of what was in Mw2, maybe once every few games, whereas it used to be a few times a game.

Haha cheers for that. That was our first game wasn't it? Fairly sure I had it within a minute and a bit :pac: I never really use my killstreaks above 7 right away.

Probably the first game yea, you joined me in Crisis TDM and took my 10th Care Pack for Hardline Pro

, we partied up soon after.

I wasn't paying too much attention to the time, but it was hella fast.

I thought it was the jungle but I cant find it in my list of previous games

Dunno man, I didn't bother with the Turtle Beaches today so I didn't hear anyone speaking. I do remember you getting a Chopper and Jungle is what I think the map was (I remember running towards where you were firing, hoping for a few easy kills lol).

yap im pretty sure it was the jungle, I was slaughtering the enemy with my famas

its pretty bad I cant find that map in theatre, had a few sweet multi kills

Was it one of the l matches I played with you earlier, you had like 29 kills or something on TDM? I think it was that. Around 4pm I reckon.

It does it automatically about 3 quaters of the way through the match:)

Was anyone else missing sound from the cut-scene after the credits? I also didn't have any sound in the dossier cut-scenes between every mission. Is that normal or did I get a dodgy copy?

On a different note

Just thinking about it earlier. But after I returned from YLOD, I really struggled to build killstreaks. Anyone who has played with me regularly, might have noticed that despite my stats I very rarely got a chopper gunner or ac130. Part of the reason is I usually rocked 3-4-5, 3-7-9 and 3-5-9 set up a lot but when I went for the big ones I just failed. It should be easier in MW2.

But in BO I pick up high killstreaks fairly easily. Kind of frustrating looking back at my time on MW2 considering everything.

Maybe a PS3 thing, I dunno, but on the XBox at least there's a hell of a lot of dropshotting. In MW2, I initially went with Default, then Tactical and then back to Default in anticipation of BO making it more difficult to dropshot. Boy were the reports wrong!

Also, perhaps the suggestion it was to do with maps is true also. So much larger/denser/more complicated/more interiors/cover.

Remi got a double semtex just as was beside him when going for my afternoon walk through the jungle. Teabagging seemed the logical thing to do.. in my head at least.

Not all of mine have appeared either. I had two I wanted to upload. One was a tomahawk kills followed by a Ballistic Knife kill using my "Crazy Sh*t" class (Olympia in Tiger, Ballistic Knife, Tomahawk.). The other was a dolphin dive over someone else's shots at me (they were in prone) and an Olympia into their face.

Lag hasn't been as bad for me today as it was when i first got it.
Theres some other irritating bits though, like one time i shot this guy in a second floor window and by the time i got in he was spawned in the same building on the first floor. Have had loads of wierd spawn situations this evening, especially on Nuketown.

Its also very hard to get your group into a lobby at times. it keeps dropping people every time it finds a game. I've found it less common if your lads are all in party chat though. If that makes any sense.

There are far too many people comparing this to MW2.
Different company, different game.
If it bothers you that much go play MW2.

It's impossible to get into games with a large group but Activision have confirmed that they're working on a patch to get it up to speed. MW2 had WAY more problems when it first came out.

As for people bitching about the sounds of the game, yeah some of the guns sound underpowered but complaining about the grenade explosion sounds, really? You are aware that the explosion in BO is far more realistic than it was in MW2?

My point is; if you're really that miffed with it, go back to MW2.

I understand that this is the megabitch thread but it doesn't state that I can't megabitch at the people :P

Lag is really making this game unbearable, can't sit down for a lengthy session without getting frustrated thus turning it off. I think Im just going to go back to MW2 until they've sorted the problems

Enjoying most of the game though!

It is the megabitch thread in all fairness,as for comparing it to mw2 I don't see the problem,different developers or not you would expect it to be on a par at least graphic and sound wise than the previous installment.to be honest it doesn't look or sound any different to world at war which in my opinion is a bit lazy.I would agree on the grenade sound alright but then you have the sentry gun that sounds like a hand-dryer,snipers sound like someone tapping a glass with a spoon,I honestly think I could do better meself with a few hours on a synthesiser
