The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure - Amazon book that should be banned!

This book went on sale today at 4pm. Immediately there has been an uproar.
The author describes it as this:

"This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certian rules for these adults to follow. I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps liter sentences should they ever be caught. "

One commentator on the site said this as to its contents:

"I saw a link to this book on an Amazon discussion thread and downloaded a free sample to see what it was about. The author condones adult-child sexual relations and wrote a book about how society is prejudiced toward pedophiles. WE SHOULD BE PREJUDICED TOWARD PEDOPHILES? THEY ARE SOCIOPATHS. Unbelievable that Amazon even allowed this book to be published. "

I cannot believe myself that Amazon would actually still allow this disgusting book to be on sale. Its unreal.
Many are emailing Amazon in protest at the continuing sale presence of this book.
I hope others are disgusted too and will take to time to let Amazon know of their equal feelings if they agree with a lot of people, parents or not - that this book SHOULD NOT be on sale.

Amazon is selling an e-book entitled "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure," and shocked consumers across the nation now are calling for a boycott of the online retail giant.

The e-book, authored by Phillips Greaves, was published late last month, according to product details on Amazon.com. It sells for $4.79 on the company's Kindle Store.

"This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certian [sic] rules for these adults to follow," a product description reads. "I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps liter sentences should they ever be caught."

The content has led to hundreds of tweets criticizing Amazon for allowing the title to be sold. A Facebook page has been created calling for a boycott of the Seattle-based company.

" This is totally unacceptable," one Facebook posting reads. "This is not about freedom of speech. This is a HOW TO GUIDE FOR PEDOPHILES! Shame on you Amazon.com."

Another posting reads: "They are screwing themselves over just in time for holiday shopping."

One posting on Amazon.com even suggested that the company should be held liable if the book led to a sexual assault of a minor.

"Is this guy behind bars yet?" the posting read. " And if someone who buys this crap is arrested for
ing a youngster in his/her neighborhood will Amazon be held accountable ... maybe an accomplice?"

Amazon did not immediately reply to messages seeking comment.

I can't believe that's on open sale from a company as reputable as Amazon. I did read somewhere recently that an author can publish an ebook with them and they share the profits 70/30 or something like that. Looks like this system has been well and truly tested now.

I would have thought it might have been withdrawn by now though as the review count stands at 802 with all but 15 condemning both the book and Amazon. The bookdepository for the Chrsitmas shopping it is so......

I assume this is some sort of police sting - you order the book and then 10-14 days later you get your hard-drive checked.

Ranked c. 1600 in the kindle sales out of thousands of kindle books available.

So people's outrage has served its purpose i.e. selling lots of copies of this book.

In that light, I find it very hard to get outraged by these things - that's exactly what the paedos want you to do.

What's worse about this is that there was a couple of scandals on Amazon regarding how erotica was ranked and refusing to let it on the front page and more importantly, that they went through a process of flagging ALL gay texts "adult fiction", whether they had sex scenes or not. Odd standards, Amazon.
