    Can anyone recommend Navman Mio M300 with UK and ROI GPS Sat Nav? I want to buy as a christmas present and dont want to spend more than €85. Any other advice welcome

    As always I would recommend you stick with TomTom or Garmin.
    Their starter devices would be around the €100 mark, but you are always sure of Software & Map updates being available.
