I have attached the cover letter from last time, it can be edited as needed. also attached the site rules.

There's plenty of info re: location, satnav coordinates, prices, site mobile numbers, etc. on the last Predator thread here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055994266

    mark??

    7am!! / 7.30am!!;)

I would be inclined to say leaving the Coachman's Inn @ 7:30am. You can never be sure what the weather will be like getting near the end of November AND you may have extra traffic heading up with husbands/families being dragged up there by uncaring WAGs to do the Xmas shopping. If Fozzie says it's a 2 hour drive then that's the best advice we can get as he makes this journey all the time.

Setting off @ 7pm the previous evening is certainly enthusiastic and will definitely get you there on time but it's probably not a good idea unless you plan to bivouac in the car park :D

Should be, depends how many hungry souls need a MacBrekkie before hitting the road and if I remember correctly MacDs didn't open too early last time we were there, make sure no one hangs around just to get brekkie!

Actually now that I think about it would it make sense to have two convoys, one leaving from Blanch and the other from Swords? Smaller groups are easier to keep together on the road.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 531 ✭✭✭Ratsquad

was hoping that someone in the convoy would actually know where they are going.
they will have to pass the that coachmans general direction anyway.

Betty Blue said he had a spare seat but as he's in Clonsilla I'm not sure he will be at the Blanch rendezvous.

I worded that wrong. I didn't mean to offer him a seat in your car, I only meant he should contact you to see what the story was. :o

My inbuilt satnav failed me, of course Clonsilla is close to Blanch.

How many are heading up and do we need to phone ahead and book in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,395 ✭✭✭Decoy

No clue on exact numbers but we expect 15-20 RATS + whoever else is making the trip so there could be 30ish heading up. It won't matter how many are playing as the site is big enough to accommodate a lot of airsofters.

You don't need to call ahead, Miceal knows there's a big group of us visiting.

If you've never been the best advice I can give you is:
    1. travel with someone who knows were they're going or has satnav (UK postcode BT28 8NF)
    2. get there by 9:30 or you might miss the first game
    3. make sure you bring lots of BBs & batteries as the firefights can be ferocious, especially the village game at the end.
You shouldn't need it but I attached a cover letter earlier in the thread, download it, edit it to include your details & print it just in case you're stopped by the PSNI.
