What's wrong with my MBP's screen?

Hey all, my trusty MBP 2.2 Santa Rosa is approaching it's 3yr birthday (according to Coconut), and I've just noticed something's up with the screen. :( There are black "burn"-like marks all along the bottom of the LCD panel. Is this is a sign of things to come?
