To sum up, no-one thinks we have a chance but yet we have a government that are simply making sure that their buddies dont suffer but the ordinary person does.

I hope that Zanu FF never darken the door again of Irish politics.

Enjoy Christmas folks it might be our last for a while.

Is Ireland selling December 25th to make some cash or something?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,086 ✭✭✭Nijmegen

EU people already have desks in the Department of Finance, our 4 year plan relies on growth targets abroad that won't be met, and everything we've been told by government to date has been bull.

So yeah, the game is up.

60 days left of cash in the country

Let's spend it all on a big piss-up, a huge blow-out of a party. We all know the IMF or Europeans will be coming in, why pretend otherwise?

    Now let's all get NAKED!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,602 ✭✭✭joe316

Watch what happens on the 31st of December when the bank gaurantee finishes up, we all wake up to the new year with frozen bank accounts.

    Yay

Yawn. Is the sky falling again?

AH is getting to be boring. It's just constant "RABBLE-RABBLE WE'RE ALL DOOMED". It's not that bad, the IMF/ECB are merely advisory bodies which will tell us to make the cuts we're already planning anyway.

    Let me see.....

First it was threads wanting to start a bank run....

Then it was threads bashing the church......

Now we've only 60 days cash in the country....

    Fear-monger much OP?

Fortunately the guy in that vid has already been discredited by someone who actually knows what they're talking about. That guy is basing his facts on the person in the pub who told him that there's only one crock of gold left in the country as the last leprechaun died in a horse and cart crash recently.

Why isnt news as serious as thing be in the national media?

Are they trying to bring this country down even further and trying to cover their asses?

Part of this clip was played on the news at one on radio 1 and was poo pooed by an RTE reporter. They advise that whether the country is going bankrupt or not is debatable but the fact there is 60 days cash left is simply wrong. This slant has also been put on it by the the FT and Wall Street Journal among others.

Who are we meant to believe and why?

I wouldn't worry too much, we've been keeping stuff off the books and getting our cash paid under the table:eek:

Or Mattresscard, which gives you access to an endless supply of undisclosed cash.
