Help how to work acme caller?????

    hi just got my first shotgun and want to go lamping foxes i bought an acme caller it a plastic black one you can blow through one end and suck the other just wanted to know how to call a fox with it thanks this is all new to me:o

    The object is to make it sound like a dying rabbit,
    Cup your hands over the end of it and blow
    Then open and close your hands to move the air around and this will change the pitch and tone of the caller.
    Sometimes you will have to put one of your fingers slightly over the end of the call to lower the volume when charlie is coming closer.
    All you can do is practice until you can get the desired effect.

    That’s a very good explanation of trying to describe the sounds/methods used, some use the back of there hand & others a small glass/mirror with a piece of polystyrene but whatever is used its to simulate the sounds of a distressed rabbit. I cant view videos on-line but by looking on you-tube etc its possible you could find something suitable.
