Sony Vaio new hard drive - need vaio software

    Hi all,
    My 10-month old Sony Vaio took a very bad tumble and I had to send it away for repair (insured thankfully!). I got it back today and the hard drive had to be replaced.

    Although Windows 7 is on the replaced hard drive, all Sony Vaio softwafe is missing. The Sony Vaio website support is garbage...I cant even find a contact number.

    Anyone know how I can legally get all this software, or perhaps someone knows the contact number for Vaio support in Ireland.

    I upgraded to Win7 from Vista myself, and just dlownloaded the Vaio updater software from the site.

    Did the job for me!

    The problem is that I cannot update since I have no vaio software on my laptop at the moment.

    Do you have any backups?

    Quite strange as i had a Vaio laptop before i upgraded to a Macbook Pro and i also never got any discs with it.

    Thankfully you get all your discs with the Macbook.
