I registered yesterday morning, so I've been able to open my DCU mail today - you should click on DCU Apps when you go to http://mail.dcu.ie i can use MyPortal too...

http://login.mail.dcu.ie is the direct link to the email login.

Timetaable should be in the first column on the left, down near the bottom, if they're available.

There's a timetable on MyPortal for me, doing Biotechnology. It's says draft at the top but...on Thursday I have one lecture at 9am then a practical 4pm?????

Thursdays will suck balls if it stays like that.

Did they repeat the Leaving? Happened to me. It has something to do with them thinking you were already in third level.

I had to send a letter off saying I repeated.

BTW, are you meant to get an e-mail confirming registration even if you haven't paid. Doing it earlier and ran into the above problem so I stopped but still got that e-mail.

woah wait a second - I've just been quoted the €4004 and I have been in third level already. Surely you're not implying that someone who has already done a third level course should be paying 4004??

What kind of course was it? As in was it a level 7 or 8?
And what are you going into, another degree or a masters or...?

its a undergrad degree. Its grand now, I see where the 4004 is coming from, I'm not eligible for free fees so need to pay 60% of the total fees instead of the 1538 - I was completely unaware that i'd have to pay this much up front so they've left me in a bit of a pickle trying to scramble that much money together for Friday...not impressed

Hey man, in fairness, it's not their fault it's yours. Should have researched it before you signed up :p What will you be studying?

Not sure if you need it all payed by friday. I think you have until the start of october before they start to issue a financial penalty.

Bah! don't take away my right to rant ;)

nah in fairness I've always known that I will be paying the full fees but I was under the impression that I would only have to pay the €1538 this Friday as opposed to the bigger portion of it (it doesn't even mention the bigger amount on the form). Means I'll have to get the ould bank to rejig my savings sooner than expected but should be all good by Friday please God!

I'm doing the Common entry to Science btw
