I'm all for it, at least someone is actually showing their frustration in a non-violent way.

Try getting hit in the head with 50g of tasty caramel nougat and chocalate and come back and tell us it's non violent...

Remember kids, a Mars a day helps you whinge about having to pay. :pac:

An ordinary car wouldn't stand a chance against a mob.

    So they're a mob now?

water canon and dog unit now on scene. haha priceless.

Ha! They should put a big hairdryer in place of the water canon and melt the chocolate mid air.

Or play some "hot chocolate" music on loudspeaker - that would disperse the crowd fairly quickly.

Wish I'd gone now, not because I agree with the protest in any way but it sounds like a laugh. :pac:

    Ahem, http://twitter.com/UTprotest_live

It appears the usual bunch of crazies consisting of the Socialists, Sinn Fein et al have hijacked it and turned it violent.

Mars Bars?.... Is there a concern over Mary Harney's apparent weight loss over the last number of weeks?

Come on man it's AH; fun making is an art.
FWIW I support the students somewhat, but the system is broken and money has to come from somewhere. When you see what they're being asked to pay in the UK (3K pushed up to 9K+ £stg) the lot of Irish students doesn't seem as bad.
When the public take to the streets, if that ever happens, there'll be a similar thread on here I'm sure.

Now onward with the student bashing and chocalte related jokes!
