Panasonic 42" LED LCD TV €950

Mate got one of these from the Panasonic distributor in Dublin for €950. He'd seen it in Harvey Normans for €1299.....I'm no expert in TV hardware so based on the spec here is it actually a good deal ? He got full warranty etc, I'll get the link to the site where it's available from if it's a good deal.
