    actually when did cahill change how it was pronounced. isn't it Ka-hill as opposed to Kay-hill

    I think 'ka-hill' is the irish pronunciation of Cahill, where 'kay-hill' is the English and probably Australian pronunciation. You've probably heard the Irish commentators and English commentators use each one.
