Cowen/Pump Politics/Tesco photo opp today !!

    so here we find ourselves at the begining of another tough week for us all to struggle through and of course I wake to hear of Cowen using 3 state cars and 6 Garda drivers to take him to tescos for the opening.

    I do hope Cowen takes time to visit all the struggling small businesses in the surrounding area that this Tesco will probably be the death nail.


    But hey, a photo op, a few miniuim wage jobs maybe a pint or two.
    Well done Clowen, every little helps.

    To be fair, Brian Cowen's current popularity means that six garda cars are nowhere near enough protection.

    so Bwian Clowen was just on the rte news after opening the tescos!!

    260 jobs created in a UK store that will have most profits seen pour out of the country? correct me if I'm wrong

    elevator you misunderstand what I was on about. Yes he was in Naas opening Tesco's new store.
    I was on about the 3 state cars and 6 Garda you quoted him using.

    On the profits, look at this way. There are 260 people employed. Where does the profits of Aldi and Lidl go?
