It's a shame those Baptist **** in the U.S. who picketed soldier's funerals weren't given the same punishment as this guy. Comments can be removed and trolls can be banned from posting. These asshats have the right to abuse the families of dead soldiers and get away with it. Freedom of speech is complete bullshít sometimes.

If we take the internet too seriously, then we would all end up in jail at some time.
People take Facebook far too seriously. This person may have been a dick, but he doesn't deserve to be sent to jail. Stupid nanny state Britain is responsible for him being jailed.

The world is full of people who will say things that you don't agree with. Sending those people to jail is overkill.

Ah Jaysus Terry. If this had been a teenager acting the bollix, he might have got away with an "idiotic dickhead" defence. But it was a 36 yr old grown man, who posted on a site to remember a dead 4yr old, saying that he had sex with the kids dead body !!

but he said those things, on the internet, it's wrong and it's stupid but it's just words on a screen...granted he deserves a hiding for it but jail is just ridiculous and dangerous
