Laptop Freezes when Plugged in??

Hi there, Ive got a Dell Inspiron 1545 running Vista and for the past two weeks or so every time I use my laptop when its plugged in after 10-15mins of use it freezes and every program running will crash. This problem however doesnt occur when its not plugged in. Any advice or solutions would be much appreciated!

try take off the battery and them plug the power, and see what will happen
