I've trawled the net, but I've found no explanations for getting the little rubber feet back into the 'plug' on the underside of my MacBook Pro (2009 model).

Can anyone help me? Only the rubber pad has come off, not the plug into which it attaches.

I'm not too sure, but I think these are just glued on.

Not sure if they're glued in, but from the little I've gathered and investigated, there's something about the little tabs on the underside of the pads to be forced into some small holes in the plug.

    Anyone?

I'd say you'd be safe enough super glueing it back on. I did the same think with the feet on my iBook G4 back in the day. Once they fell off and I glued them back in they never fell off again. Not sure about the tabs you stated above though

There should be little 'pimples' on the foot that fit into the base on the underside of the notebook. Supergluing them on won't be any harm as such. Just don't use a load of it! Not entirely familiar with that model, but if there's a screw in the base for the foot, you will need access to that if the machine ever needs servicing, so only just enough glue to stop it comming off easily.
