I was a mod once. A good one. But one night, real late a big SQL storm blew up. I was trying to get all the users out of the forum to safe internets. I'd got them all, well I thought I did when I got a PM, one was left behind. He was posting a large picture of Homer Simpson saying doh. The file was large real, large it had all but shut him down. Well that SQL came roaring through and I lost him.

After that I spent months reading CNN and Time and I never went back to Moderatin' again.

I am a woman with very loose morals...
but alas I only loosen my morals for mods from the West of the country..

If I can find out the names of the women with loose morals interested in AH mods I will forward them on to you.

There's a pay scale.
The busier the forum and the more bans, infractions and warnings that you hand out, the more you get paid.

I moderate a relatively quiet forum. We get the odd dick coming in and stating the obvious (wrestling is fake). Other than that, it doesn't really require any moderating.
It doesn't pay too well, but I'm happy enough with it.

The bigger forums (AH, PI and the like) attract more muppets. As a result, the mods are paid more.

Boards.ie pay the mods in the form of drugs and/or hookers. It all depends on the gender of the mods in question.

It used to be coke and hookers for all, but times have changed.

Male mods still get coke and hookers. Female mods get crystal meth instead of coke because it heightens their sex drive. Instead of hookers they are given a choice of choosing the man of their dreams (the crystal meth distorts their vision, so this is quite easy), or getting the address of a troll and turning up at his/her door with the promise of no strings sex.

I have 37 other accounts set up in the hope of being visited by one of the female mods after I get an account banned for trolling. I live in hope.

Legal Discussion is definitely a hard forum to moderate. The number of boardsies that come in and think they can get free legal advice after they get arrested for drink driving or for doing something ridiculous'... its relentless.

(read: I want to make the big money!)

I need to pick up my second mod-ship. AH maybe!? :P

i wouldnt be able to hack being an AH moderator because youd have to read so many terrible threads, i do however long to be able to ban someone from a sub forum that nobody actually reads
