I love the way the paper linked legalising cannabis to Mexican drug wars. From what I can gather those wars are being fought over cocaine and heroin not cannabis (not a big enough profit).

I'd say it's one of two things:

they've found a way to check the way you're taking electicity, and can see if you're using it for certain lights

or

unemployed people are getting into the game, and are doing it in their own back yard, selling it to everyone, and getting caught quickly

Also heat cameras on helicopters, you know how hot the lights get! But not worried, everyone is growing and they can't catch everyone!!!!

I just heard on the Six One news that Gardai seized a cannabis and opium plant in the grounds of Blarney Castle today. The plants were on display in the 'Poison Plants' section of the garden and within cages. wtf

It also has a very strong distincitve smell that travels far and gets noticed by people.

I doubt most growers would have a garden full of plants, so the flowery smell minus any actual flowers outside the house would probably tip folks off.

aye, it's easier to get weed now then ever, but the quality of weed is not as good as before imo.

these grow houses with a couple of 100 plants are more often then not grown using as many plant growth enhancement chemicals as possible and they arnt washing these chemicals out prior to trimming.

a tell tale sign is harshness on the throat, something very obvious to proper tokers, not the johnny blue brigade. also, the best weed out there is that of the creeper kind. not stuff you inhale and are instantly wasted. this may sound good but it's those grow chemicals that cause this.

there is good weed out there, it's just not in houses being grown by non-Irish people. this trend of foreign people operating grow houses won't be going away anytime soon, there is too high a demand for it to stop. these people are sent here to do this and send proceeds home to their families until caught.

the quality of weed in Ireland has always been and always will be tainted.
Sure the country didn't even have weed until about 8 yrs ago before it started to show up.

Used to be just the ol couch you could purchase. But seriously the weed in Ireland is covered in all sorts of bad $h!t to increase the weight of it as I'm sure you all know. They use stuff like silica sand to increase weight.

I personlly order my weed over the net and have it imported directly from the dam so I know I am getting the best quality weed on planet earth, with no cotaminents and the smart money says I spend half of what you spend on the street for a much better product.

Long story short - don't buy weed or hash in Ireland

Gardai raid more weed factories then ever now.
