What Clubs Use Twitter?

    Athenry AC have just set up a Twitter feed and I was wondering if it would be worth while setting up a list of Irish Athletics clubs who have a presence on Twitter so that they could all be followed at once. As a club we're hoping to use Twitter to push out details on our race at Christmas - stuff like reminders of closing dates for entries, news on race arrangements that might change and 'gossip' on who's entered. We could I suppose even have to send out news on a race cancellation like we had last year - hopefully never again.

    I know that there's a list for Irish Athletes but don't think there's one for clubs. Am I wrong, I could easilly be because it seems like an obvious thing to do.

    I'm pretty sure that Sportsworld have a Twitter account too, but don't see much coming out of it.

    Make sure you get onto Stupid Private and ask him to add it to the RacePixCom/athletics-ireland list he has, that's the one I use for all running related tweet following instead of following each of them individually.
