SNL Who actually writes for the show.

I like watching SNL but was wondering who actually writes for SNL.From what I know they have writers that dont make an apperance for example Conan O brien wrote for SNL and only made brirf apperance. Does the cast members actually write for the show aswell.Checked on IMDB but couldnt find anything.

There's loads of staff writers on a show like that. Many of whom will never appear in front of the cameras.
