    Is it good preparation for the test in law society??

    Also, is it only 300 points for it??:)

    This year it was 320 points through the CAO.

    It's a good as any law course on offer, obviously not as prestigious in comparision to a NUI qualification but it is accepted by the Law Society and also by Kings Inns. I know of two people who've done it and one has gone onto post-graduate study in university to complete a degree in International Law as well as one who qualified with the Law Society and the New York Bar.

    The two who studied it,would theysay it was suitable and good preparation for the law society tests??

    They would say it gave them a good basis for tacking the FEs.

    However, a word of caution is that there have been some changes to the Department of Humanities which have resulted in reports from this year's freshers that it's very poorly organised and slow to get going.

    So if this is true, I'd probably steer more towards the courses in WIT or in one of the NUI colleges if possible.
