Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks Peter. Those codes have been a Godsend to me over the past few months.

Did anyone hear Barry Kenny of Irish Rail on Morning Ireland this morning? He was talking about bringing in very cheap fares on early trains from Cork to Dublin, as they are doing on the Galway route at present.

He then went on to say that it's possible to book tickets for a few different journeys online, whilst paying just one transaction fee. I've been looking at the site since, and can't see how to do that! Granted, it's possible to buy a few tickets for the same journey, but is it possible to buy say, a return trip to Dublin for two different dates & still only pay one transaction fee?
I don't think it is, but if you guys & gals know how to then please enlighten me!

heh heh Peter I believe you may have some sort of tie to Irish Rail - the code is still unavailable to the general public. Who cares as long as they keep being posted though!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 620 ✭✭✭Peadar06

No, I have no connection with o2.ie or Irish Rail, as I said here, I am on a very high package with o2 at the moment, so I get the code straight away.

Cheers for these! Word to the wise though, don't do like me and book your parents to come to Dublin thinking you were going home like I did!!! Irish Rail are very very unhelpful and will not change tickets that are booked the wrong way around....a 50% refund is the best they can do....

Am so grateful that you're still posting these codes. You have saved me a fortune over the past few months. Thought the offer was due to expire earlier this month - long may it continue :)

Hey, I've been looking around on the 02 website for you for about 45 mins and I cant find it anywhere in the treats section. I've found it before but it must not be up at the moment....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,419 ✭✭✭tommy21

Likewise. You can actually search for treats using their general search box, and it does come up but won't load.

As far as I recall from the t&cs, the offer was to expire at the end of October. So that might be the end of it :(

Ah sh!tballs. Need to book train for 5 people and I was putting this off and putting it off knowing the treat codes were in here. Guess I've missed it by 36 hours :(

Damn I booked tickets for start of December last week, if only I'd waited. Hope its of use to someone.

I don't suppose we'll see any more this side of Christmas?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 566 ✭✭✭Mollywolly

I don't have a code, but I have just booked a ticket for the OH and it looks like they're having "technical problems". My first attempt was showing a price of 56.80 but I was logged out and had to start again. Second attempt gave me a price of 46.80 and allowed me to purchase the ticket.

The price showing by each individual leg of the trip was 45.80, so I consider this to be a bargain!
