Wine making grapes are different to eating grapes that we get here, but there isn’t anything stopping you juicing shop bought grapes

12 to 15lbs of grapes for a gallon of wine ,it says in 'First Steps In Winemaking'.
(Plain water weighs 10lb/gallon.)
