HELP! ftp.quake.ie etc

    ok heres my prob
    i connect to FTP.QUAKE.IE and its ok, untill i try to upload / download something
    when uploading, its starts off at about 4k / s then crops constantly till it reaches Ob/s
    wtf is going on?!?! ive tried tinet galway and tinet dublin connects and there is no difference
    i cant get aything uploaded
    HELP PLeAse!

    now i cant even post this!!
