Singer Wanted for Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Band

We are a Dublin-based heavy metal band consisting of 2 guitarists, drummer and bassist. We have lots of original material written, some with early lyric ideas, some without. We need a singer who can contribute creatively to the band, write some lyrics and put their own stamp on our songs. We do have a few covers we like to try people out with, but we are an originals band first and foremost. We're all 25-30.

We spent a year jamming and writing music, and practised around once a week. Right now though we're focusing on getting our material finished, recorded and gigged. We're all easy going, but serious about what we do. Our aim is to make some good, fresh sounding original music, and take it from there. Though it should be noted that we all have a strong liking for 80's style hard rock.

For auditions, we usually try people with Highway Star by Deep Purple, Holy Diver by Dio and Flight of Icarus by Iron Maiden. But if you are up for this and have a particular song you'd like to audition with, let us know, and we'll see if we can learn it.
