Buying Dell accessories on UK sites

Just wondering has anyone bought anything from this UK website before?
    http://www.electronicavenue.co.uk/
Massive difference in price for Inspiron 9300 battery - on Dell website EUR 157 whereas above website £33.

In general, how can the prices be so different? Do people regularly buy from UK sites?

    Appreciate any advice! Thanks

They are probably not genuine Dell batteries. That price is close to what you will pay on eBay.

A genuine Dell battery should last (depending on use) for a few years. These others will work well initially but will start to degrade after 2 - 3 months. The quality of the cells just isn't as good as the genuine Dell ones.

Thanks for that Dilallio. Are the Ebay batteries fake too?

Thats a pity as the reviews for the "real" Dell batteries on the Dell site are brutal - on average 1 out of 5!! Most people say that they don't last long enough and are way over-priced.

Do I have any other option than to buy from the Dell site where reviews not good?

Many thanks - new to all this! :)
