    Hi all,

I just bought an iMac recently and am planning on doing a bit of recording.

Mainly just acoustic guitar and vocal - bit of piano thrown in maybe.

I'm between an older Focusrite Sapphire which I can get second hand or an Apogee ONE.

I don't know the first thing about audio interfaces so could someone point me in the right direction.

I know the Sapphire has more inputs but it's quality I'm more concerned about.

Here's the Sapphire in question: http://www.adverts.ie/307091/pro-audio/focusrite-saffire-firewire-audio-interface/

    Get the Apogee.
Quality conversion, and you're getting a mic into the bargain too.
