    Hi everyone,

Is there anyway I can transfer from Tralee to Limerick Maternity Hospital?
tbh its been left a bit late, (due the 23rd Oct. ) but circumstances have changed drastically and it would be made easier to have it in Limerick.

Any info or advice gratefully accepted!

    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Bevvie :)

    Ask the hospital:)
or if you just go in to labour in limerick you will go to the nearest maternity hospital;)make sure to have all your hospital notes with you!

Bevvie, if you're in Limerick already you should ring the antenatal clinic in Tralee and have them transfer you and your files to Limerick. It would be much better to have all your documentation there in case you go overdue and need to go in for daily monitoring for any reason. There should be no problem getting in to someone's clinic, provided you are a public patient.

It would be much better to have some contact with the staff before the actual delivery, and maybe to get a tour of the facilities before the birth so you know where to go and what the check-in procedures, visiting hours etc are.
