How to find out who owns land

Is it possible to find out a name and last known address of the owner by going to the Property Registration Authority/Land Registry Office on Chancery Street in Dublin and showing it to them on a map, or will…

Bit of land up the road from me has been overgrown and unused for a few years, nobody seems to know who owns it. Is it possible to find out a name and last known address of the owner by going to the Property Registration Authority/Land Registry Office on Chancery Street in Dublin and showing it to them on a map, or will they refuse to divulge the owners name.

Have had a read of their website and can't seem to figure out if they will give the name to you.

Yes the will give it to you for a small charge.
