Lynch's restaurant upstairs beside Zhivago's on shop street is the first place that springs to mind for me, haven't been there in a while but they definitely do carvery anyway

I think Flannerys hotel on the Dublin Rd do a carvery lunch from 12-3pm for 7.50 euro. I haven't tried it.

Imperial in Eyre square do a good one.
Outside the city, Westwood one is nice. Clybaun hotel is ok but I haven't been there in a while.

Radisson is supposed to be very good on a Sunday.
    From Sunday 3rd October 2010
Le Marché is an exciting food market at Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Galway. Galway’s first lunchtime food market, Le Marché provides a tempting selection of different food styles and flavours for you to choose from. While you dine enjoy a complimentary welcome drink, play area for the little ones and free carparking.

Le Marché means ‘the market’, and conjures up impressions of wandering through the well-stocked stalls in some interesting continental town… So wander through Le Marché in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Galway, and enjoy the tastes and smells of some far-off places right here on your doorstep.

    Opening Times:
Closed until Sunday 3rd October 2010

Its not a carvery but the Ardilaun Hotel do a GREAT lunch for a tenner. Roast Turkey, Lamb, Beef, etc. Great value.

It's hardly a rip off ? It's a 4 course meal with a drink and you get your tea and coffee ?

Lynch's on Shop St. never lets me down. I eat in there every few days for lunch. Recent renovation is nice too. €4.50 for sausages and chips is a steal. Makes me feel like a kid when I order it but it's such good value :pac:

Other dishes are €7.50-ish then. Usually have a good menu.
