Conas a deireann tú an abairt sin i nGaeilge ceart le do thoil:

"How did you prepare for this interview?"

    Sin é cad atá agam:

"Conas a ullmhaigh tú tú féin don agallamh seo?"

    An bhfuil sé sin ceart?

"Conas a d'ullmhaigh tú tú féin don agallamh seo?"

why is it ''tú tú féin'' Is that nat literally, how did you prepare yourself for this interview?! Surely the tú féin can be omitted.. It doesn't sound right IMO

    It sounds natural to me

"Conas a d'ullmhaigh tú tú féin don agallamh seo?"
How did you yourself prepare for this interview?

Well you can omit the 'tú féin' if you want to omit the 'yourself' in the english version.
