Mafia 2 War Hero Pack Invalid Code

I recently got the new Mafia 2 game and with it came a code for xbox live to get the War Hero add-on pack.I entered the code several times but every time I got a message saying "invalid code please try again".My question is, is this happening to everyone or is it just me

try from the xbox web site ? Under market place / redeem code?

Was the card already scratched when you got it ?
