Does anyone remember it? , and knows what it's called? It's going to be some popular classical piece but I've no idea.

No, I'm fairly sure it was RTE's opening credits theme, and it's definitely a classical piece I'd say.

Well the tune in my head is not Ode to Joy, I'm 90% sure that the theme I'm talking about was Rte's euro 96 credits but it could be another tv companies [not bbc or itv tho']
