    New schedule:

    2 Groups of 4 Teams.

    GROUP A: Teams 8, 5, 6, 3

    GROUP B: Teams 4, 2, 7, 1

    Top 2 from each group into Semi-Finals - Group A Winners vs Group B Second Place and Group B winners vs Group A first place.

    Third place playoff (Best of 3) from the 2 loosing teams

    Finals from Winning teams (Best of 3)

    OK, cause Team 1 weren't able to field (Ramza disappeared), we put Team 3 back in the game :)

    Semi-Final 2 (Team 3 vs Team 5) is currently underway.

    Semi-Final 1 (Team 4 vs Team 8) is over with a victory for Team 4.

    And that's it!

    Late finish tonight, but the winners were Team 4 - grimE and Bogger who won the second and third games in the Best of 3 Final to take the victory.

    Hard luck to Desp and BlueWing and an extra GG to grimE and Bogger for giving the thumbs up to a restart after Desp's Starcraft crashed out on him in the middle of the first game.

    Thanks to everyone for turning up and playing tonight, I had a good laugh putting it all together - I hope you'll forgive the few delays trying to get people wrangled into place :) Also thanks to TheDoc for the Vent server as always.

    I'll start a thread for Replays now if anyone's interested.

    Well done to everyone who took part.

    Now all we really need is our own ladder, arrange matches between each other when it suits and let it be done ;)

    yeah, there arent any custom ladders in BNet no? We could always use 3rd party ladder software.

    Some really fun games last night... I think it supports my opinion that 2v2 is the strategic game while 1v1 is tactical.

    I really need to learn to use Mutas better too... :(

    Could use an external system or just simply set a thread here like or something, game doesnt support custom ladders ( but it ****ing should like)

    Allows players to arrange their games themselves, challenges etc, similar to how any ladder works, they are used alot in Tennis. But best of all it promotes playing when it suits you, and obviously your opponent.

    Run it for a set period then have a playoff with the top however many people.

    +1 on a Boards.ie ladder - can't always make the Tuesday games, but a general ladder would be kinda cool :)

    I'm sure Kharn is all over it ;)

    We have all the tools and resources, just need to the players.

    Could also encourage some people we know not on boards to sign up and get involved, I know Dustaz's mates (Flavio, Wolfe, etc) enjoyed playing and watching the irish games so might get involved :)
