    They have supplied a fee finder but dont match the fee names with the process names.

    Can anyone fill me in?

    EOI = $400

    Not sure.
    I'll be doing PR next year. Current application is processing

    but this is the full list of fees. Might find what you need in there

    And the last fee you pay is the Migrant Levy which is another $300.
    (Although that might have gone up slightly too with the GST increase.)

    How long generally does it take?

    Quickest I've seen it is 3-4 months.
    Generally 6-12months.

    6 Months would be VERY fast. Mine took 14 months ish which is about average ish from what I hear.

    Also factor in medicals & NZQA assessment, add a grand for them.
    To get it in 6 months or under you need loads of things in your favour, a good CO, recognised qualifications, a full and permanent job in your field and 140 points in the EOI that can be proven there and then.

    I cant stress enough that this process is not for the faint hearted. Sponsorship process for OZ was a piece of piss a 2 year old could do compared to what I had to go through for NZ PR.

    Good luck!:pac:

    So did I, thought it would be a doddle....

    Co = Case Officer

    Well any amount of stress and hard work put in will be worth it if it prevents you having to go home, sign on and sit around depressed for 4+ years ay?

    Well that is true to some extent. You dont have to go home if you have to leave NZ/OZ. There is a whole world out there other than those 2 places. Remember you have an EU passport so you can work in many countries in europe, not just Ireland. There is also Canada which has a WHV for those up to 35 years of age. Thought you were going home to finish your studies anyway.

    Yep,

    home next sept for 9 months then outta there.

    NZ is crying out for QSs and I have family here so its the only choice for me until I can allpy for residency in OZ
