Yep, fantastic little movie. Saw it about 2 years ago - was surprised I hadn't heard about it before as it was so good.

It's difficult to even explain why - it just draws you in.

I'd Highly recommend it to anyone.

    What a gem.
    I agree!

Peter Dinklage, Patricia Clarkson and Bobby Cannavale work so well together. It all feels very genuine.

Also, it was written by the guy who played one of the most annoying characters on The Wire!

Lovely film. Own it on DVD.

McCarthy also made the visitor, another nice, soft film that concentrates on the character of normal people rather than story.

Saw it in the cinema when it came out originally, nice little movie, nothing much happens but thats not the point, you're just watching people interact, I must pick it up on dvd actually never bought it.

Haven't seen it since it was released on DVD, but really liked it then. You certainly feel good after it, which tends to be the goal of such films :pac:

Would +1 The Visitor recommendation too if you liked this.

I remember seeing this in the cinema when it came out and having no idea what I was walking into. Great film, beautiful and understated, one of my favourites!
