Lakes/Rivers arount Dublin

Hi guys!I live in Dublin 1, and im looking for some good lakes/rivers for fishing as close as possible to Dublin.I just started fishing, and i dont know any place for fishing.I went in Cavan last week, but is too far.Thank you!

hmm if your just starting you obviously wanna catch fish so i coul recommend either corkagh park or maynooth

If you contact the Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) they have a decent information pack regarding lakes and rivers in the Dublin and its surrounds. Saw it yesterday and it seems quite good.
